What’s Included in an HVAC Maintenance Visit?

Regular maintenance ensures your heating and cooling system runs efficiently, prevents costly repairs, and extends its lifespan. Here’s what you can expect during a professional tune-up:


  • System Inspection: Our technician will check your thermostat, electrical connections, and overall system performance to ensure everything is operating efficiently.


  • Cooling System Check: For cooling systems, we check refrigerant levels, and inspect the evaporator & condenser coils and the condensate drain.


  • Heating System Check: During a heating system visit, we inspect the burners, heat exchanger, & test safety controls.


  • Safety & Efficiency Check: We verify airflow, gas pressure, and lubrication of moving parts to prevent wear and tear.


  • Final System Report: You'll receive a detailed report with recommendations to keep your HVAC system in top shape.

  • How long do maintenance apppointments last?

    Maintenance appointments typically last about an hour. We'll check that everything is working correctly, and clean out everything to ensure efficiency. If you're a preferred maintenance plan member, we'll also replace your filters. 

  • How often should I schedule maintenance?

    On the preferred maintenance plan, we'll schedule your visits in the fall & the spring, and we recommend the same schedule for seasonal clean & checks. 


    In the fall, we'll check your furnace & make sure it's ready for winter. When spring comes around, we'll do the same for your A/C so you're prepared for hot summer days. 

  • What happens if I skip maintenance?

    Neglecting maintenance can lead to higher energy bills, frequent breakdowns, poor indoor air quality, and a shorter system lifespan.

  • Will maintenance really save me money?
